About Dark Catt Studios
Dark Catt Studios is a multimedia production/development studio based in St. Charles, IL. When we began in 2012 we were focused on documentary work and freelance video journalism. Soon we were growing and taking on bigger and more creative projects. In 2016, the company began developing immersive and interactive content and now has several ventures underway, from full feature films and TV pilots to AR/VR games and applications.
Dark Catt Studios and it’s gaming and tech-focused partner Dark Catt Studios Interactive continue to push the boundaries of what is possible by combining strong narratives and stunning visuals with new workflows and immersive technologies.

Dark Catt Studios has a strong focus on film, animation, and narrative media forms. We started in 2012 as documentary and freelance video journalism creators and grew to take on more creative projects. We continue to grow as we maintain our focus on narrative media and now have several ventures underway from full feature films to TV pilots.
We believe the future of storytelling will take place in many different forms, utilizing immersive technologies, second screens, and viewer interactions. Because of this, we strive to integrate new workflows and technology into our creative process and produce media that can be enjoyed across multiple platforms.

We have positioned ourselves on the cutting edge to utilize the latest in gaming technology. In Djinni & Thaco: Trial by Spire, take on the role of the Djinni, a magical spirit of tremendous and terrible power. You are summoned by Thaco, a wizard, who needs your help in defeating his enemy, the tyrannical King Crambone, by battling Crambone’s vast armies that are laying siege to Thaco’s spire. You will gaze down from high above the battlefield, like a titan half-buried in the earth. Take command of the battle by summoning defensive towers to lay waste to your enemies and enhance your supernatural powers, as well as performing hand gestures to cast devastating spells.
